The first rocket launch from Russia’s new Vostochny cosmodrome postponed for a day. The reason for the canceling of rocket launch was the failure of the automatic control system, reported in “Roskosmos”.
The head of the state corporation Igor Komarov said that “for 2.5 minutes to the contact the lift, there was occurred automatical hang up of cyclogram,” and launch was automatically stopped after the “boost” command due to a failure of the control system.
“Automation has given all-clear launch of the carrier rocket “Soyuz-2.1a” from the cosmodrome “Vostochny” for 1.5 minutes before the start. Backup start date – April 28,”- said in a statement of “Roskosmos” on Twitter.
In the Corporation was also announced that the human factor in the transfer of rocket launch was expelled and it did not relate to the infrastructure of a new cosmodrome.
The official representative of “Roscosmos” Igor Burenkov reported that the rocket and satellites are safeguarded.
