For the first time: Sri Lanka takes part in Children of Asia Games

The Sri Lanka’s picked team takes part in the Children of Asia International Sports Games for the first time. Young athletes arrived in Yakutsk on July 5.


Mr. Deva Henry, Vice-President of the Sri Lanka’s National Olympic committee had arrived in Yakutsk 2 days before the team of Sri-Lanka reached the town. He met the guests in the airport.

Ceylonese children, which are 17 guys and 17 girls, have to compete with others in judo, track-and-field gymnastics, swimming, taekwondo and chess.
