Fleet renewal: Yakutia Airlines purchased new Sukhoi Superjet 100

Airlines Yakutia purchased under rouble leasing an upgraded modification of Sukhoi Superjet 100. New liner, adapted to northern conditions, is intended for non-stop flights to Far East and Siberia.


SSJ100 is set to be an adequate transport for upgrading of aircraft fleet. Olga Fedorova, Yakutia Airlines’ CEO, noted that it is planned to purchase new planes made in Sukhoi Civil Aircraft.

This plane is the fourth Sukhoi one in aircraft fleet of company. However, this modification is distinguished by extended flying range. Comments were accepted while it was constructed.

SSJ100 was constructed in 2016. It has an upgraded modification “Long Range” which provides flying range up to 4.5 thousand km. Seating configuration is increased up to 103 seats (tourist class).
