Mobile operator Beeline, at request of YSIA, has analyzed mobile internet traffic of its users all over Russia. The largest spread of smartphones was noted in Yakutia in a period of 2015.

Yakutsk heads Top 20 towns on spread of smartphone users among all Russian regions. Chita, Ulan-Ude, Anadyr and Magadan are in the list of leaders too.

Users began to use messengers, social networks and e-mail more often than traditional SMS. “On December 2015 mobile traffic rose in 4.5 times in compare to July”, – the press-service of the mobile operator reported.
