Victor Lebedev and Victor Rassadin entered top-20 world’s strongest wrestlers


United World Wrestling recently updated their men’s Freestyle wrestling rankings. All told, 2 wrestlers from Yakutia (Russia) are currently ranked.

A two-time freestyle world champion, Yarigin Memorial International’s bronze prize winner, Rio Olympics’s participant Victor Lebedev ranked 8th at 57 KG. Let us note that Yakutian freestyle wrestler rose one position higher.

Non-Olympic weight caterogy was substantially changed. Yarigin Memorial International’s winner Nyurgun Skryabin was in the previous top-20, but was excluded from it. Instead, World Cup’s silver prize winner Victor Rassadin sat 19th.

Let us note that Magomed Kurbanaliev is ranked 1st at 70 KG as he won world championship. Soslan Ramonov and Abdulrashid Sadulaev, Olympics 2016’s prize winners, keep their top positions in weight categories of 65 KG and 86 KG.
