Yakutia to sell sables in first Baikal International fur auction

Yakutia will sell its famous sables on the 1st Baikal International fur auction. From March 21-26, auction offers the world’s fur buyers large and comprehensive collection of high quality fur of hunting farms of Siberia and Far East.

A meeting with the organizers of the First Baikal International fur auction was held in the Ministry of Nature Protection. According to them, this event should be more democratic than Sojuzpushnina fur auction. The advantages are proximity to main centers of sable production, possibilities for natural persons and legal entities, an equal 5-percent commission apart of batch.

“Baikal fur auction will be the first platform for fur purchasers in the Far East. It will bring together 16 regions. In total, we want to cover over 500 contractors. We have negotiated with 130 suppliers of sable skins”,Yuri Vashukevich, the CEO of Russian SOBOL, said.

The auction will be held in the prestigious Baikal business center in Irkutsk from 21 to 26 March.
