Federal budget allots 39 mln rubles to Yakutian theatres and cultural centres


Yakutia will receive 39 million rubles to equip culture facilities with the projects “Theatre of small towns” and “Local culture centre” initiated by the party “United Russia. Funds are allocated to purchase new light and sound equipment and seats.

According to First Deputy Minister of Culture of Yakutia Vladislav Levochkin, the agreements were signed by by the Ministry of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinski and the Chair of the Government of Yakutia Evgeni Chekin.

“Federal budget alloted over 25 mln rubles to equip Yakutian culture centers with the project “”Local culture centre”. It refers to facilities which had total overhaul and received new buildings in 2016 or were put into operation in 2017. This list is approved by the regional office of the United Russia. Nurbinsky portable drama theatre and Actor and Puppet Theatre in Nerungri will receive 6.370 mln roubles each”, – Levochkin said.
